Happy April Snow Day!

Even though we have just survived our first Swedish winter, Alexis, Jacques and I were all quite surprised this morning when we woke up to this view from our window...

...a beautiful white winter wonderland in the middle of April. We've had quite a few cold days and flurries these past few weeks, but nothing prepared us for the snow actually accumulating...even for one morning.  Good thing we hadn't packed away the winter clothes yet!

Since we couldn't pass up the opportunity to make one last snowman of the season, we bundled up after breakfast and rushed outside to take advantage of the perfect packing snow.

Happy to have at least one more day of winter fun!
